The deals are starting to get better and better as the summer wanes. You take your chances going to Florida, the Caribbean and Mexico because of Hurricane season, but many places offer guarantees that you will get a refund if your trip is cancelled due to a hurricane (hint click on the deal of the day above). Some also offer rain refunds (same link). Here we are just coming out of a very slow time...the spouse returns to work after almost five months next week. Now we just hope they pay him. So for us, as a family, it is road trip time soon to relatives houses and local attractions.
