And In The End
A Turkish airliner carrying 135 passengers crashed Wednesday while trying to land at an airport in The Netherlands, Dutch officials said. The Turkish Airlines aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, was attempting to land at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol when it went down in a nearby field, The Times of London reported. It originated in Istanbul.Turkish Airline officials in Istanbul said no one was killed in the crash but a number of people in the rear of the plan were injured, DutchNews.nl reported. Other reports indicate that at least 9 people died.Witnesses told media outlets that up to 50 people exited the plane unassisted. I almost don't like to mention this type of incident but you must remember traveling dears that plane travel is still safer than cars in terms of fatalities and accidents. So please do not be swayed be the seeming rash of recent crashes into not traveling. Get yourselves out into the world. Remember, life is a journey, stay packed. Ciao for now, Maggie
