Celebrate With Great Prices and Promo Deals on Travel

Sandals: Fly Free at Sandals Resorts!

Carnival, Mardi Gras, Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day...just a few of the reasons to travel to some of my favorite places this time of year. I did not make it to Sundance, but thanks to the Sundance Channel I can take in just a little bit of what I am missing. The idea of jetting off to Rio or Hong Kong is exciting and actually somewhat affordable presently. For those on a little tighter time constraint and budget (really, budget in the Big Easy?) there is New Orleans and San Francisco. If you don't wish to have mass crowd celebrations you can find one heck of a deal on Ski trips, Mexico and the Caribbean right now.

Check out this week's hand picked deals below and get inspired to stop being tired and bored with your surroundings. Get a new view with which to take on the workaday world.

And In The End
Most of the country is freezing its tush off this week. I get really tired of the winter hibernation that apparently overtakes me when the thermometer goes below 40 (I am a wuss, I know). I tell myself that I won't be sedentary, that I will pull out those yoga and walkvest videos and stick with a program. Instead, I watch shows like the Biggest Loser while reclining on my couch, eating Best Life products (Oprah and Bob Green), drinking and reading. At least I multi-task, just not in the right way. I would much rather be on a quest for the coolest street food in Brazil as I follow in the footsteps of Anthony Bordain or at the very least following my New Orleans friends advice about the best bars and parades during Mardi Gras. ( And Docstress, the link below is for you as I know you are always looking for great costumes for Mardi Gras!)

Clearance Costumes: Shop Now Before They are Gone. Over 500 costumes to choose from.

So here is to our travel quest this week traveling friends. Be sure to send me info about the great places you have been and of course pics. Half the fun of travel is in the planning and dreaming. And remember life is a journey, stay packed. Ciao for now, Maggie
