I keep thinking that if I wait until tomorrow I can fill up my tank for less. Its not happening. Its really not happening when it comes to airfare either...unless you want to make a quick getaway this weekend or book whatever summer travel you want before mid June, the fares are going up. No more snacks on some carriers and now you have to pay for those checked bags...sorry divers, surfers and world travelers with over-sized wardrobes, its gonna cost ya. I for one can last 10 days in Europe with my carry on and some hand wash clothing detergent purchased when I get there or a short visit to a laundry. Which also means I could last 2 or 3 weeks the same way. Mom was right and I will repeat it, as I often have... you should always take twice as much money and half as many clothes.

I live in small town USA located outside a major metropolis. Because of that it has been declared Jason Castro Day here in Rockwall, Texas ya'll. Because of that, there is a parade, a mini-concert and a key to the city being presented. Because of that, my 10 year old daughter has to go. Because of that, I am going (hey its also a nice time for a picnic and another band after Jason)...and he lives around the corner from us lol. We are always on Jason watch around here in the Rock and in our hood. He is a good kid, I just hope he remembers the words tonight. That is tonight's trip.
