As of post time, American Airlines has cancelled another 570 flights today bringing the total number that the carrier has canceled this week alone to just under 3000 flights. This mess has affected massive numbers of customers and some may not be entitled to any relief. Other airlines are said to be following suit and grounding flights but hopefully in a less dramatic fashion. On top of American's woes, Frontier has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and now it isn't just the passengers that are suffering. The disruption of cargo, mail and businesses in which the already financially strapped airlines engage threaten to bring down the US economy even further.
OK, doom and gloom part over for now, I just could not ignore the elephant in the room. American should be somewhat back to normal by next week and should be working hard to woo us back.
With that in mind, without any deals from AA at this time, and without further ado here are this weeks deals...

And In The End
If you are feeling iffy about your airline options as we approach summer, look into driving somewhere in the 500 mile or less range, in other words drivable in a day. Renting a car is a great way to insure that if you breakdown, the car will be quickly fixed or replaced and you can either rent a small gas sipper or a big SUV that you can pile everyone into to save on gas.
If you have stories, comments, laments or videos about this weeks travel chaos please post them here. And remember that life is a journey, stay packed. Ciao for Now, Maggie
